Soft Words with Cami's avatar

I’m sitting with this in awe. Your words carry so much truth, tenderness, and courage, it’s impossible not to feel the weight of it and the light within it at the same time. Thank you for sharing what it looks like to be inside the hard, not after it’s wrapped up neatly. The way you honored your daughter, your body, your faith, and your own humanity is deeply moving.

The image of you in the ambulance, whispering Jesus’ name, and later breaking down on the bathroom floor, those moments are holy. They remind us that faith doesn’t require strength; it meets us in surrender. And the way you wove Dave’s wisdom, motherhood, grief, healing, and gratitude together felt like a living testimony of what it means to let yourself break open instead of shut down.

I’m so grateful your baby is home, breathing freely, laughing, and wrapped in love. And I’m grateful for you, for your honesty, your reverence, and your willingness to name that growth is often messy, exhausting, and still profoundly good. This was a gift to read. Holding you and your family with so much care as you step into the new year. ❤️

Oh my goodness Cami, this has got to be the most beautiful comment I’ve ever read in response to anything I’ve ever written. Thank you for sharing your heart and reflections. For being my mirror in a positive light and reminding me how special it is to connect with others through words. So grateful for your kindness which is well received and praying for you to have the most prosperous year yet!

Beautiful. Thank you. I found the livestream prayer from your church very moving. It is things such as that, that really bring home our family in Christ. Bless you.

Amen! Community and fellowship has been such a blessing especially now having a family. It’s something I’ve never had before and the way we were supported through prayer, meals, and care was unparalleled! Thank you for being here and for reading.
